IKAROS MOB Combined Smoke and Light Signal (USCG/SOLAS/MED)

Description

When someone goes overboard, the crew has to be able to find them again. The IKAROS MOB signal is mounted on the bridge wing and attached by line to a lifebuoy (a 4 kg bridge buoy). Throw the buoy and the signal is pulled from its bracket, lands in the water beside it and starts working on its own: dense orange smoke by day and flashing LED lights by night, marking the spot for the rescue boat.

Shipping and pickup

Flares and other pyrotechnics ship by ground only as hazardous materials. A separate $45 hazmat fee is added once per shipped order, on top of the shipping cost. Free will call pickup is available at our Hillsboro, Oregon shop: choose “Will Call” at checkout. There is no hazmat fee on will call orders.
