Description
A float-free EPIRB only works if its bracket lets go. The Hammar H20E is the release that does it: when the bracket is 1.5 to 4 meters under water, the unit cuts its plastic bolt and the EPIRB floats up and starts transmitting on its own.
Why replace with the H20E
- No servicing. It is a two-year disposable unit with the expiration date printed right on it.
- Simple, reliable design. A special plastic bolt holds the EPIRB and is cut on release, with no rope sling to wear out.
- Fits common float-free brackets that are designed for the Hammar H20 release. Check your EPIRB manual or ask us if you are unsure.
