Shipping and pickup
Usually ships in 2-3 business days. Flares and other pyrotechnics ship by ground only as hazardous materials. A separate $45 hazmat fee is added once per shipped order, on top of the shipping cost. Free will call pickup is available at our Hillsboro, Oregon shop: choose “Will Call” at checkout. There is no hazmat fee on will call orders.

Is this the right signal for my boat?
Recreational-grade signals. USCG approved for recreational boats and six-pack charters. Most inspected and offshore commercial vessels need different or SOLAS-grade signals. Check our visual distress signal guide or see commercial / SOLAS pyrotechnics before buying for a commercial vessel.
Pyrotechnic signals are marked with an expiration date (42 months from manufacture). Expired signals do not count toward the carriage requirement.
